In the Priory Hotel we also have a Public Bar/Bistro for use by our hotel guests and local clientele. This bar has TV's for watching live sports, a pool table, some great malts and beers, and serves some great food from our own kitchens. The extensive all day menu features some local fayre as well as Burgers, Pizzas and plenty of other choices to suit all.
This bar is called the "Comm" Bar and this was originally a separate hotel and bar, called the Commercial Hotel which was directly behind the original Priory Hotel. Over the years the two hotels became one, but the public bar from the Commercial was such a popular bar we kept it going as it was a real part of the village heritage. It can be accessed through the hotel entrance or it has it's own entrance on Commercial Street.
